Need help with New Vegas

I'm wanting to purchase Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Edition off of Steam for £29.99.

I already bought the original version of the game during the sale last Christmas, and I'm wanting to buy the Ultimate Edition because I figured it makes more sense to spend £30 for the game and all DLC, rather than over £34 for just the DLC.

However, when I look at the Steam page for the game, it says that I already own the Ultimate Edition, even though I only have the original version.

Should I then just buy the DLC for the game or the Ultimate Edition? And if I buy the Ultimate Edition, will that be stored in my Steam library even if I have the original version?

I assume buying the ultimate version will not give you the normal game since you already have that but will instead give you all the DLC. Im not sure about that though. It depends which is cheaper, if the difference is only £4 then it could be worth getting the DLC since it is simpler.
It depends on whether you want to risk buying the ultimate version or not. I would recommend buying the ultimate since it's cheaper and if something goes wrong Steam may be able to help you out.
