Need help with Oblivion GOTY edition.

Okay, I've been playing the unaltered version of Oblivion for the Xbox 360 for a while now.

But I'm having trouble with the Shivering Isles and Knights Of The Nine expansions.

I installed these expansions and kept playing while waiting for some notification that they came through, I even played through the entire main quest, yet I'm getting no rumors of any island east of Bravil, or any rumors prompting me to go to any chapels, the game played as it did without the expansions, I tried looking at the downloads section in the options menu, but the word 'downloads' is rendered transparent and it won't let me in.

I tried everything, deleting and reinstalling the expansions, instlling the expansions twice, I even installed Oblivion to the hard drive, but I'm getting nothing, nothing out of it at all.

Could I have done something wrong, what should I do to get these expansions to work right?

Try with a new save game, and make sure you use all the discs with the GOTY version possibly.

For the Knights of the Nine you have to go to a chapel (I think it's the one in Anvil) and talk to a prophet, as for the Isles, I'm stumped.

No they should apply to the game. Try with a new save and report back, it's been a while since I used the GOTY edition.

I did as you said, I started a new game and decided to pass the time for notifications of any of the expansions coming through by saving Kavach, still getting nothing.
