So I'm having some trouble exporting a file to Quicktime on my mac (no "get a PC" responses please) and I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice.

Here's the situation: I'm editing a very large file in Premiere Pro CS4. The video is a couple of hours long and contains several Quicktime files, some of which are in HD. When I try exporting to Quicktime my computer tells me that it doesn't have enough memory. At first I tried deleting files and buying some memory sticks to deal with this problem without success. When it says memory does it refer to ROM or RAM memory? Should I try splitting the video into several files?

If you're using HD footage, those are some pretty huge files.
A few huge files put together can only result in a REALLY huge file, so yes, try splitting the composition up into parts, it will probably also help you with the rendering time at the end which is sure to be very very long

Thanks I was thinking of doing that myself and yes the rendering time is absurdly long.
