Need Help Writing A Query Letter

Ok, to make this short, I'm serious about my writing and wish to become published. I've already been told that I need to seek an agent before I seek a publisher, and to get an agent I need to write a really good query letter. Thing is, I don't really know what to write in it though.

Oh yeah, in case you're not sure what a query letter is, just think it's kind of like a resume. (horrible description, I know but I don't describe things well late at night.)

Here's a tip: Don't try to sort this out late at night.

Get a good night's sleep, and leave it until you're wide awake and working at full brain capacity.

Wait until the morning or maybe mid-afternoon and you've had some lunch. Then when writing use lots of details in describing yourself.
