there has just been a series of major incidents today that has left an aunt of mine dead (after months of battling muscular dystrophy) and my sister in a life or death situation. There are so many other things going wrong that I just need some kind words from some people who I can't distrust (you).
please help before I destroy my keyboard.
EDIT: no, this is not a joke thread, I really need to hear a good thing.

That's a cool dragon you've got for your avatar.

Sorry about your aunt/sister/life. Hang in there, buddy.

Try to handle the situation as best as you can. Rage never helps, it just adds to grief. Take a step back and try to relax........If that doesn't do anything, then, how about this.....some music for your soul.......try to cheer up buddy....

EDIT: Also, I'm sorry for your loss.

:(

I'm sorry to hear that. My mom died in June from cancer so I kinda know how it feels. I have never met you before but since you are an escapist I can only assume you are awesome.

/internet hugs you

Sorry to hear it's "one of those" days for you, friend. Those days, do indeed, blow goats, so I know the need for uplifting.

Just remember, without sorrow, you could not appreciate happiness.

Judging from your badge, "your heart is full of warmth." Use that care and concern as an encouragement to your family, be there for them and realize they're there for you too.

If that didn't work, I can sing "just keep swimming" from Finding Nemo. Let me know.

I dunno, I wouldn't trust me if I were you. I'm sneaky.

However, I am available to dispense morale-boosting high fives at all times. Like thus;

*highfive!*

Feeling better yet? I can keep going if you like...

You'll be able to learn and grow from this experience, no matter how bad it may seem. You should do what many people do at times of tragedy, drink, get some friends together, play some games. Or alternately drink, play an RPG for a really long time until you feel better. The first suggestion is the better one.

EDIT: Does this help?

Sorry about your loss..

Though you have a very hard time, remember that the rest of the family most likely has it the same way.. So try to give comfort to them, and you will get some back..
Also, try to stay strong for your sister, depending on the situation, she might need uplifting in a humorous way rather than hearing how sorry everybody feels for her..

On a sidenote, this movie always gives me the giggles..

Cheer up mate :)

You have my sincere sympathies. I'm not sure I can offer anything more constructive than that. My best wishes go with you and your family.

We all have these rough patches but things will always get better.

Trust me, I've had my own experiances and it is always hard at first. I'm praying for you, your aunt, your sister and your entire family. Things will turn out okay.

Always remember that no matter the circumstances, you are cared for and loved by those that you love and care for. Take heart that your aunt's battle is over, and that she is no longer suffering.
