I got a new laptop today, an HP Pavilion DV7, running Windows 7 Home premium. Started watching some videos to test the network connection a bit. Everything was running smoothly until about halfway through and episode of ZP. The sound started skipping, and then eventually cut out completely. Not even the little 'ding' that happens when you change the audio works.
It works fine through headphones, but once you take them out, there's no sound at all. I've restored drivers, updated drives, done a system restore and still nothing. Not sure what to try anymore, if any of you have any ideas or solutions I'd appreciate them. Thanks.
