Thinking of saving for a piercing or a tattoo.

Piercing i'm looking at getting ear pierced then stretched to like 1cm+, and a lip piercing

OR

Custom designed tattoo, probably half sleeve, or down inside of my arm.

Both will be expensive, as buying all the kit for stretching will cost a small fortune, so escapist, what do you think i should do ?

If I were you, I'd get the tattoo, because I don't like piercings, but again, that's just me.

i personnaly don't like either, so i would recommend against both.

however having no experience, this is a mootcomment.

that said i have a coworker with a stretched earlobe piercing thing, and during a fight someone stuck their finger into it then pulled the ear lobe apart. grisly, and very very bloody.

Tattoo if you really want it... =D and only if you REALLY want it.
Otherwise, if you aren't sure, get the piercing...

If i don't stretch it past 1cm, it will go back to normal if i take it out.

I see what you're saying about the tattoo, i'll give it a good thinking

Okay... a stretched ear piercing? How old are you?
Remember that this will not go away, not ever.
Like the tatoo, you will have this untill you die.

With the tatoo:
Choose a motive you will still like when you are 80. Trust me, you will change a lot till then, and it may start to piss you off real bad.

With the stretched piercing:
You can not hide it. You will most certainly never get a job in which your appearance plays any role. And even if it does not, it sends a message to the boss you apply to. This is a serious breach of social protocol, be certain that society will consider you as an outsider by choice. Always bear in mind what that means, for the rest of your life!

I do not mean to be condescending, but this is serious.
Please give this good thought, and picture yourself as becoming very old with this.

edit:
Read what you wrote. Do you know this for a fact? Remember that this whole "going back" thing is highly dependant on your individual tissue. Some may go back, some may not.

Hmm, so piercing, but not stretched incase it does not heal

And tattoo, well hidden, and something i will still appreciate when i'm old.
