Need PC help

I have a problem with my monitor. Everytime I play Trine, or any other game that I recently aquired, my monitor goes dead and I have to restart my tower for the monitor to turn back on.

This is a major pain in the ass. Could anyone help me or give any tips?

My friend had a simillar issue with his monitor. IT turned black once the graphic-card went to hot. It was some strange problem with that one, so he bought a new one. Problem solved.

I checked and My graphics card isn't over-heating.

HOw can you check if your monitor is dead?

Yeah sounds like your graphics card is on the way out.
