Was playing barbarian invasion for the first time, when I tried to play, it would freeze, little coloured lights appear on the screen, and the screen would go between being black and returning to normal when I move the mouse. It's now doing this on my desktop, so i'm constantly restarting the PC.

Oh, and when I restart the computer, windows turns off my active desktop.

HELP!

You should try unscrewing your pc, removing the graphics card and cleaning the slot.

Do the same with the cables.

I would zauxz, but I'm fairly certain that playing RTW: barbarian invasion caused the problem, as it first happened when I tried to do that, and has happens again if I try to recover the active desktop.

I am lost, is this a common issue with the folk at these forums because I've never noticed it happen anywhere else.

If you have am issue with your PC it is of greater help to everyone that is trying to help YOU, if you provide even the most basic information about what kind of PC you are running it on.

A vague description of the problem attached to no reference of what you're trying to play it on leaves me with no idea about what you're trying to do. All I can can assume just now is that you have tried to install and run the game on to a kaleidoscope attached to a monitor.

May I suggest you remove the kaleidoscope and try installing the game on a nice set of binoculars at the very least it will get rid of the funny colours you seem to be seeing and you'll have all the fun of a dual screen set up.... or you could give us some info about your PC, like hardware spec, operating system and how up to date are your drivers?
