Hey guys, I know theres a ton of PC gamers on here who really know their stuff, and I was hoping one of you could help me out. Please bear with me as I know next to nothing about computers and how they work, so try and explain it like you would explain this to a small child.

I'm about to buy a new desktop for college, and I dont have much cash (like 300 to 400 max) I've been looking at a bunch of different desktops on the internet. While a lot of them seem to have really good RAM and Dual or quad core processors, their graphics cards are, for lack of a better word, complete garbage. This doesnt really bother me, as I was just going to save up and buy a better graphics card later and install it myself. Only problem is, I have no idea how to tell if a desktop even has a slot where you could install a new graphics card onto it. A lot of them have integrated graphics, and I'm not sure if that means there's no slot at all, or if its just preinstalled and you can swap it out later. If you guys want to see a couple of examples of what I'm talking about, here are two computers I was looking at.

Yes, I know you can build a much higher end by buying the parts yourself, but I have literally no experience with computers, and I dont feel comfortable trying to build one. Not to mention I dont have the time, as I need one by the end of the month.

As for the games I was going to play on this, not many high end newer games. I dont need a comp that can run Crysis at max settings, but if it can run Starcraft II and Fallout New Vegas on decent settings I'd be estatic. Other than that I would probably be playing older/less taxing games like Minecraft, Xcom, Left 4 Dead, and other games like that, so it shouldnt be too bad

Thanks for any help you can give me guys.

Both of those have one PCI-E x16 slot (which means that you can add a graphic card)

and I found it by taking
(On the amd computer)
Product tour -> Download more info, and then cheak the specs

And I cheaked the Q&A section and found this link on the Intel version.

Generally speaking you have to look very hard to find a computer without one PCI-E x16 slot.
With integrated graphic they simply mean that the CPU has a graphic process unit aswell.

One problem with buying those computers is that they have very bad PSU (Power supply unit) which means you need to upgrade that aswell if you are buying a new graphic card

Whatever you do, don't buy a computer actually inside a Staples store.

If you don't want to buy a protection plan and some other service the computer will magically be out of stock.

Yeah the power supply and form factor of that Gateway are hideous.

As horrible as they are dell [http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-570/pd.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~ck=mn] seem to have some boxes right up your street.

Will never be a beast, but with an actual video card in it will run stuff.
