Need some help fellow escapians!

Nothing big, it's just in my media production class we are making a music video. As a team me and my group have been thinking for days for a good song to choose and we still haven't made a decision...mainly because none of us have had any above average ideas and because of our lack of inspiration we will probably get behind schedule with the filming.

No genre restrictions...we are just after something that will be fun to do and probably be funny when we finish it.

If anyone here really cares enough to want to see it i can stick a youtube link when we are finished.

We did this in High school too. I have to say one of the funniest we watched that year was a group of two guys that did Haddaway's "What is love". Freaking hilarious.

Um, try the Benny Hill theme song. Or the Green Acres theme song.

Other than that, Pat Benetar's Heartbreaker is good... or try a Red Hot Chili Peppers song. Can't Stop is a good one.

Depends purely on what your going for and what mood you want. If you want a political protest kind of thing, something punky like nofx or ratm would work, I personially like the living end (more relevant if your from melbourne with the whole east vs west thing). If you want something obscure go with pixies "where is my mind", everyone likes it . If you want an overall 'epic' feel go for something like bat out of hell by meatloaf or clubbed to death by rob dougan. Heaps of options ^^

They had a very funny coreographed "Don't stop me now" by Queen bit in "Shaun of the dead", maybe you could try that?

Why not use an instrumetal track and hity a story around it. You wouldn't be restricted by lyrics and could keep as simple as you wanted it. This track lends itself to it....
