Need some help with my keyboard.

So i'm a guy who likes to sit down and play a little sims 2, one problem is to prevent my sims from aging I need to open the cheat window and when I hold down the Ctrl key on my windows vista desktop none of my other keys register, i've even tried the windows key in the mix and it still doesn't work. Anyone have a clue?

Have you tried using the other CTRL key?

Yeah, that's all I've got. Me tech savvy not.

Hmm that's a new one for me...
Maybe you could go to Programs, Control panel, then click on keyboard. See if anything weird is checked off, like sticky keys or something, but I'm sure you'll find your answer

Are you just trying to do minimize The Sims 2? If so then just use alt+tab.

So are you saying that the ctrl key stops other keys from working?
Your problem isn't new. A google search turned up this thread on some forum:

Didn't look like he got it working, though. Just keep looking. I typed in "ctrl key problem" in Google.

Why not just extend their age to 960 days or whatever the longest is. I know that doesn't solve the problem but surely it would be more rewarding with-out cheats.
