Hello Escapists!
i recently bought a model 1 SEGA megadrive off a flea market, however i could not find any form of AV-out cable for it.

now there is 3 outputs on the back:

*an 8-pin DIN one that is evidently a n RCA(mono sound) in the other end,
*an EXT thingie that i dont really understand so i pretend it is'nt there.
*and a RF-out thing that i heard you need some wierd box for.

Now i dont have any games for it nor do i have controllers so i cant test if it works alright (at least the power light tells me it works) but i found out that the RF one looks very much like a regular antenna cable wich we have plenty of(and i tried with one of em and it seemed to fit though i cant see if there is any signal since i dont have any game).

do you think it will work with just the antenna cable or do i need to buy one of those stupid box things or that DIN -> RCA thingie??

And this guy is right.

Well done.
Just a note -- if you have an RF modulator for an NES lying around, it's compatible with the Model 1 Genesis. At least it is on the American systems -- I can't speak for PAL territory.
