Right, so I recently got two games, Payday the Heist and They Bleed Pixels. Payday starts up, but if I try to enter a heist other than Counterfeit (and even that breaks when I try to crowbar the door open) the game quits itself and launches to desktop. With They Bleed Pixels, I get an error message. As the game is refusing to start altogether now, I can't exactly tell you what it is. Something about something of mine not supporting the XNA HiDef profile... I'll throw in an edit if I can start it up.

the XNA HiDef profile is probably your graphics card not having the appropriate shader levels. I think HiDef profile uses 3.0 shaders. HiDef profile also needs a graphics card that supports DX10.

No idea on the other problem though.

Any clue on how to fix it? As I have played other games involving DX10, I'm assuming my graphics card works with it.

Nothing concrete. Do the usual things, check your graphics card drivers are up to date etc.

I have no idea but try updating your graphics card drivers, validating steam files, reinstalling the games.
