I'm trying to save up for a new gaming/desktop replacement laptop and have nearly reached my goal. My initial idea was to buy an Alienware m17x; but, after being on this forum for a while and reading a lot from the general PC nerd community, it seems like Alienware has earned the ire of many people due to price and hardware issues.
