Not entirely sure this is the proper area for this, but I can't find a better place to ask.

Anyways, I'm having trouble viewing vids on Youtube. Specifically, I can't watch any. Whenever I open the page, the vid never loads, and it just stays a black box.

At first I thought it was something with my connection, but other computers in my house are able to watch youtube vids, just not mine.

The really weird part is that on forums (Like this one), I can watch the vids as long as they're embedded.

I've run a virus scan since then, but that lead nowhere. I've also tried shutting down my computer, and no dice there, either.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Ah yeah, I've had that.
Things that work is restarting your browser or computer.

Those two have worked for me on two separate occasions; so give it a go.

In the words of Roy '...have you tried turning it off and on again?'.

If it doesn't sort out...google yo problem: someone somewhere in the fast expanse of the internet will have the answer, mate:].

Apparently it's a problem on YouTube's end.

I guess, they'll solve it soon enough.

Well, glad to hear that... I guess. Just means I'll have to be patient is all.

I just get loads of random loading cancellations and 'this video could not be played' errors. I think it has more to do with the fact that the reliability of the wireless at this end is similar to that of a Russian in a COD game.

Oh, wow I just noticed: NEW VIDEO PLAYER :D

It probably won't work on every video, but on [a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWxBrI0g1kE"]this one[/a], I get the new player by clicking the little expand video button in the bottom right.

Oh, actually I found the original link [http://www.google.fi/support/forum/p/youtube/thread?hl=en&tid=782d433caef8ec2b&start=200] to the explanation and some tips.

Uh... that's not the problem I'm having. The vid just isn't loading, period. Those tips don't help at all.

Well... hopefully it IS them, and not me.

It's happened to me a few months back, just leave it a few hours (or a day) and everything should be right as rain again.

I had that problem, but I just clicked on a link and it worked. So I dont know. I thought it might be something to do with computer memory space but I'm probably wrong.

Hope it stays that way.
