Need to find some mentally-challenging internet games.

I'm doing a science Student Research Project, and my aim is to see how colour and music can affect performance in such games as in the topic. I've already found a few, such as a simple one where you click the screen at the right time to dodge bullets, but I'm going to need some others.

I need the game to have some form of feedback, as elaborate as you can find - score, errors, time, etc - and to not be something overly complex, but just based on simple tasks, such as the "click-and-dodge" game I mentioned.

Answers ASAP would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Well Neon Wars is pretty colorful, and simple at that. You simply have to move around a board with your X shaped object, evading every kind of geometrical shapes that try to ram into you. All of them move in a different manner and you simply have to dodge, as the game implements auto-fire (Which you'll pretty much be thankful for).

Sooner or later it feels like you're high when seeing the visuals of the game.

Have a look around for a game called "Squares." The basic premise is your cursor is a square, and you have to collect the other squares on the screen with your cursor, avoiding the circles zipping around. And the more squares you get, the bigger your cursor gets.

I think maybe Synesthete would be perfect. There's footage of it on youtube. You'll have to download the game, but it's free.

Well that was fun... But the ending was the most f*cked up thing I've ever seen in a game. In a good way.

Look up the Hapland games. Should be able to find them on Newgrounds. 3 of them, flash based, lemmings-like puzzles. Incredibly hard to solve without a walkthrough.

How about Plasma Pong? http://www.fun-motion.com/physics-games/plasma-pong/

You can customize for color as well.
