That or Sacred, but I hear Titans Quest is the better game overall, and they're about the same price.xitel said:If you like Diablo, try Titan's Quest. It's the same thing.
I meant a good RPG.PedroSteckecilo said:Diablo and Baldurs Gate represent two very different philosophies in RPG design, which did you like better?
And Prophecies and Factions (you can't really buy one without getting the others IMO, as it just gives you so much more versatility in what you can do)curlycrouton said:I'd suggest Guild Wars: Nightfall.
Icewind Dale 2 could be the perfect game for you then.WeedWorm said:I meant a good RPG.PedroSteckecilo said:Diablo and Baldurs Gate represent two very different philosophies in RPG design, which did you like better?
BG probably, I find micro management enjoyable for some reason. Plus, I prefer one with a party.
I agree with this. Both games were a great deal of fun to me.archwiccan said:i could suggest neverwinter nights 1 or 2, the game asks alot of your computer though and the classing system sucks but of well
If you don't listen to Pedro, I'll punch your dog.PedroSteckecilo said:Also Icewind Dale 2 is some damn fine RPG combat and dungeon hacking. It kind of mixes the best of both worlds, the Action of Diablo 2 and the Party Dynamics of Baldurs Gate, plot isn't as good or interactive though.
If you liked BG I would suggest...
Baldurs Gate 2
Knights of the Old Republic
Neverwinter Nights 2
KOTOR 2 = 2/3 of a good game. The last bit is just so very bad compared to the rest of it. However I found Atton to be an awesome character, fits the Han Solo Archetype that was missing from KOTOR 1 (Carth was too whiney)TGLT said:EDIT: And, of course, KOTOR is pretty similar. Jade Empire is as well, but Jade Empire is a bit... eh. Not their best.
And regardless what people may say about the rushed ending of KOTOR 2, Obsidian knows how to make interesting characters.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that was pissed off about Carth. Though yeah, the ending could have been a hell of a lot better. Still, more characters in KOTOR 2 that I liked compared to KOTOR. G0-T0, Atton, Kreia, Bao-Dur, and Visas. And the return of the only other two characters I really liked from KOTOR, HK-47 and Mandalore. Well, and I did like Jolee but poor old bastard'll never get off Kashyyk again I imagine.PedroSteckecilo said:KOTOR 2 = 2/3 of a good game.
