I have an anger problem and was wondering how other gamers(the most angriest people on the planet) solve this problem. What is your release? I have long bouts of rage that can last for days over stupid shit (I know it's bad). IS there anyone else that has this problem?

I just go away from what was making me mad, turn on some music, and do something else, like drawing.

Actually, the only thing I do tend to get angry over are video games, so I guess that's sort of my release. I mean, you've got to take out your frustration somewhere, so it might as well be on something that won't get its feelings hurt.

Other than that, I find music (listening and/or playing) to be a wonderful stress reliever.

If i get frustrated or Angry i usually play a good fighting game of i take out a JRPG and use my Fully leveled characters to kick the final bosses Ass.

Also just taking a deep breath and talking to someone, with no need for input just someone who is willing to listen, can really help.

Nerd Rage isn't general anger over video games, it's anger because of ignorant people. Imagine you're playing WOW, and someone walks up and says, "Are you winning?" at which point, you nerd rage.

Really depends on the situation, as it involves another person or group I usually just take a look at what's going on from their end, and understanding it makes me feel silly to be angry anymore.

If it's just generic me-being-pissy-ness (hey, I'm a redhead, it happens... often), then I usually just start Monster Hunter on my PSP and pick the hardest monster my rank will let me fight. As good as it feels to beat the crap out of things with the massive weapons, blind rage doesn't make you last very long so I have to force myself to calm down and think properly.

I just listen to metal and reason that whatever I'm angry about isn't worth the effort. I can effectively immerse myself in the music enough to forget why I'm angry. I can't concentrate on doing one thing for too long; being angry is no exception.

I nerd rage when critics allow older movies to get away with awful acting and not more recent ones. I don't care if it was an older film, bad acting is bad acting.

I rarely get pissed enough to truly rage. Usually I get that calm anger that make me more calculating and more thoughtful of how to proceed. After a while, I then lash out at something that I can't hurt, like a punching bag, or heavy bag, or bag full of kittens.

I learned the hard way that I can do all sorts of bad kinds of damage if I don't control my anger, and I've got the broken walls and scars to prove it.

They way I solve it is read how wrong I was whenever I post ANYTHING in the religious/political forums, shake my head, and move on. Also, I find turning on Ninja Gaiden or some other fast-paced game helps me deal.

I don't exactly "rage", but when I'm angry at someone or something, I simply play my guitar. Very, very loudly and very sloppily.

Before guitar, I played games. Killing civilians and blowing shit up is always fun. Get some weapons, get in a car and just go.

I don't rage very often, if at all, but playing games usually helps. RDR is great fun when I'm in a pissy mood. Just slap on my bandanna and shoot the hell out of anything that moves.

I know this sounds stupid but heavy breathing exercises actually calm me down alot when I'm pissed off. It helps keep the heart rate nice and low too. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth, taking about 4-5 seconds each breath in and each breath out.
