I bottle all my rage up inside in the vain hopes that if I store enough long enough I'll be able to shoot concentrated hate beams from my eyes. So far no success, but I'm still trying!
A few people said exercise I guess the generalization that gamers don't exercise is wrong. Lots of games tend to build up anger (Batman: Arkham Asylum, Final Fantasy 13). I'm impressed how healthy you all are that you didn't use drugs(aside from one or two) or self mutilating behaviour.AllLagNoFrag said:I justmasturbatego for a really tough exercise such as my recent attempts at as many one handed push ups as possible. Either that or absolutely unleash on something that resembles asisterpunching bag.
Anyway, generally, I actually dont get extremely angry as my better half prevails most of the time and says "you will just do something stupid and might hurt yourself doing it anyway." Which is good because wrecking your knuckles by punching a pole is NOT a good way of releasing anger.
Oh and just in case anybody reads this, it is NOT good to be bottling up emotions. It is being claimed that people who express their emotions whether through actions or talking to someone about how they feel have a healthier mindset. Saw it on the news![]()
Hmm... well Ive been doing intensive gaming (or at least I see it as intensive) since Jan last year. Also, Im going to enlist into the army in about a month, so I have been hitting the gym. When Im not at the gym or going out, I just game/watch shows/tv. Yes, Arkham Asylum built anger up for me. The story was easy as hell, it was the challenges especially when I was stuck at 96% completion and had to do the frikin fighting challenges. (Oh whats that, you got it? RESTART *****) I almost lost it at some points, getting hit on the last wave etc.ROBOcity123 said:A few people said exercise I guess the generalization that gamers don't exercise is wrong. -This suggestion is the best.
Mostly good suggestions. Reading a therapy book atm to try and solve the problem. It's a dialectical behaviour therapy workbook (anyone who has emotion problems should read one of these).
The question is now...What's the worst thing/regret that you have broken in a fit of rage? I teared the ears of my limited edition Batman lifesize cardboard stand from the 1987 Tim Burton movie.
