What happens when you decide to try and undermine Zynga?s success by applying the ?winning formula? with a new situation?

You get crap like Tap Store. Streetview Labs, a company I doubt I?ll hear much about in the near future, have opted to take what they believed made Farmville so addictive, and change the setting to something more appealing. The basic premise of the game is to tap a type of clothing to sell, and wait for it to be all gone. Then do it again. You can decorate your store with the surplus income, or save it up to afford more places to sell your clothes from.
And that?s really all there is to the game. You order clothes, you sell them, you order different clothes. I really wish I could say more. You have a bad attempt at graphics, where the customers are animated in a kind of robotic way that really makes me wonder why they even bothered.

For the readers who paid attention to my last review, you?ll know why I considered Zombie Farm superior to Farmville, despite the relative lack of variety. You could play it offline.
Tap Store, however, requires a Wi-Fi connection to get anywhere, thus, in my opinion, defeating the whole point of playing on a handheld device. If you are in a Wi-Fi zone, and possess an iPod or an iPhone, it?s likely, but not certain, that you?ll have a computer close by, so why not just play from that? What is the point in a handheld device if you can only use it in certain places? I can understand on the iPhone, which I understand has an Internet connection of its own, but on inferior devices such as the iPod Touch, what is the point?

To finish up?Tap Store is not even worth the install, never mind paying the money for Respect. I?m sure I don?t even have to explain to you what Respect is. Even Streetview Labs have dived in on that action.
