I've had this conversation many times with friends. Friends that don't know me as well think I'm either Lawful Good or Neutral Good. However my best friends and I are in agreement I'm Neutral unintentionally Lawful. Cause I could care 2 shits about anyone I don't know, but I protect the people I know when need be. That is why they get the illusion of Good.

If your wondering about unintentionally part, me and my friend came up with a bit better system to explain alignments, since there are still a ton of grey areas when trying to figure out alignments. Since we have Worshipers of Bane in them, But there Alignment is screwy since they are Lawful Evil. But there goal is to bring Chaos. So They are infact Lawful with intent on Chaotic Evil or just Lawful Chaotic Evil. It gets rid of those grey areas that we didn't like about the Alignment System.

My Characters normally Fluctuate between Lawful Unintentional Evil, and Lawful Intentional Neutral. Thinking about I really never played a "Good" character but that doesn't mean my character has never done good things. Hell I had a friend who was Consistently a Lawful Evil Character, but his character did more good for the world then any of the actual "Good" characters did.

Chaotic neutral. Chaotic as I don't really give a damn about much and am prone to impulsiveness and acting outside of social norms. Probably neutral because the people who think I'm kind and nice and lovely and the people who think I'm sociopathic and cruel just about balance out.

Lawful Neutral, leaning toward Lawful Good. Lawful because I actually care about following the rules for the sake of the rules, Neutral because I don't really go out of my way to be good.

My feeling going into this is that most people will identify as one of the "Goods", most likely "Chaotic Good", whereas realistically most people SHOULD fall in the Neutrals, and as close to True Neutral as possible in a lot of cases. Then I took the little test.

And got True Neutral.

Alignment:
Lawful Good ----- XXXXXXXXXXXXXX (14)
Neutral Good ---- XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (16)
Chaotic Good ---- XXXXXXXXXXXX (12)
Lawful Neutral -- XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (17)
True Neutral ---- XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (19)
Chaotic Neutral - XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (15)
Lawful Evil ----- XXXXXXXXXXXXXX (14)
Neutral Evil ---- XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (16)
Chaotic Evil ---- XXXXXXXXXXXX (12)

I'm so smart! A cookie for me.

True neutral characters are concerned with their own well-being and that of the group or organization which aids them. They may behave in a good manner to those that they consider friends and allies, but will only act maliciously against those who have tried to injure them in some way. For the rest, they do not care. They do not wish ill on those they do not know, but they also do not care when they hear of evil befalling them. Better for others to suffer the evil than the true neutral and his allies. If an ally is in need, the true neutral will aid him, out of genuine love or because he may be able to count on that ally a little more in the future. If someone else is in need, they will weigh the options of the potential rewards and dangers associated with the act. If an enemy is in need, they will ignore him or take advantage of his misfortune.

Chaotic Neutral. I help people, I hinder people. And I do it all to amuse myself. Chaotic neutral would be the most fitting thing.

True neutral. Almost all the time.
On my generous days, Neutral good.
The days where I am extremly pissed at someone, Neutral Evil.

Everything I do is to benefit me and those close to me in some way, shape or form. Im indirect, using words rather than fists to bend the rules in my favour.
I respect the law, only because it keeps some of the murderers off of the street.

I took a test a while back that put me at Neutral-Good. I was on the cuss of True-Neutral, though.

Most definitely Neutral Good. Sometimes I may move slightly towards the chaotic good side, but not nearly (often) enough to put myself into that category.
At least...this is based on what I can remember from the old D&D times. Didn't really look for an alignment test, since most of them probably suck and don't show how far you're into each alignment, so I'll just have to go with what I remember.

Somewhere between Chaotic Neutral, Chaotic Evil and Neutral Evil. I very rarely pop in to visit Chaotic Good now and then.

Neutral Good, Chaotic Good,
one of those two depending on my mood
odd, that's what i'm like too. unusally just neutral good, but i can be chaotic, when i get irked.
less irked and more 'lets screw with people for my own amusement'. >:) the looks on people faces when i go straight into left field are priceless
