Neutral Good, Chaotic Good,
one of those two depending on my mood
odd, that's what i'm like too. unusally just neutral good, but i can be chaotic, when i get irked.
less irked and more 'lets screw with people for my own amusement'. >:) the looks on people faces when i go straight into left field are priceless
so, you just like screwing with people? so you're neutral evil? (chaotic evil is nihilist, aka "all must end!" ie: kefka)

Neutral Evil, I have found that when push comes to shove, when life gets hard and really pushes on you with all it has... most people are Neutral Evil deep down. People can say they have 'rules' or 'morals' or will do such and such good act. But they will self serve when it all comes down to, survival is ingrained into your DnA. Now I know that way down at the core of a few people there is good. And I would not even dare to speculate a ratio, but I am sure there is more evil then good as far as the 'moral compass' goes.
Lawful Good here.

You gotta realize that theres always exceptions. I've been through some pretty tough shit, worse then most people here have ever had to go through. I have always always upheld my strict moral code no matter what happens, i retain my honor and do what i feel is right. I've been beaten up for it (one or more instance resulting in a stab wound, even getting an arm broken to protect people) All to keep good people safe or keep the bad guy locked up. the world could end and I'd hold these ideals, a guy could hold a gun to my head and i still would. Survival is worthless if you cant abide to your own moral code and beliefs.

You may be right in what you say, but you must always realize there are exceptions to these things. I will die with my moral code an honor intact, never give up never surrender.

Man this is depressing. Who here still plays DND Bro fist!!, fuck fourth edition though! Anyone breaking out any Halloween themed scenarios?

I'd describe myself as Neutral Good, though, honestly, I tend to drift toward True Neutral. I try to be nice and I'm not particularly selfish, but I'm not exactly a force for good either.

My D&D character, on the other hand, is Lawful Evil.

Chaotic neutral. Odd how it went from crazy to everyman.
Yes, isn't it?

I am most certainly Lawful Good, perhaps Lawful Neutral if I'm in a pissy mood. I follow laws and rules to a fault. In fact, it's one of the many reasons I want to be a judge. Rules exist for a reason, and if you're going to break them, you better have a damn good reason (see: MLK).

Well, according to the strict rules, I'd be Chaotic Good. Of course, I disagree. I see myself as Lawful Good, and just looking for a lawmaker who can be trusted to make Good Laws (ain't found one yet!)

Lawful good. I believe laws should work for the betterment of mankind as a whole. And by lawful good I DO NOT mean lawful stupid. I would rather skirt the law then cause evil to exist.

Somewhere between Chaotic Good and Chaotic Neutral. I don't like being restrained by the laws or regulations of any one alignment, but I don't think I'm a backstabber or with regular... unsavory tendencies. I can be manipulative and dishonest (and fairly decent at it), but I do feel a bit bad about it afterwards.

If I may be a dick for a second, I'd like to point a few things out:

1. This topic has been done to death, please use the search bar

2. This should really be in the "Off-Topic" forum

3. You don't need to begin a topic on a gaming website with "Nerds Unite", seems a bit redundant to me.

And OT: True Neutral

I would say lawful good but with more emphasis on good than lawful if that law is evil it shall be crushed if it is for the good of all then it shall be followed. If a good person follows an evil leader is he truly good

"MERCY?! YOU ASK FOR MERCY?!!!! I'M CHAOTIC NEUTRALLLLLLL!!!" *Buries axe in the bosom of an imaginary foe*

Er. Lets back up a bit. In reality I would say that I'm true neutral.

Chaotic Good, so much so that it's impossible to describe my characters as anything else.
One Idea I had bouncing around my head is a character that goes around defeating all the gods because "Gods are tyrants if they have any influence over the beings of the material plane." Regardless of the alignment of the gods in question.
There was also a similar idea where a character decides to disrupt the "balance" of the 9 Alignments because the way the alignments are set up are almost deliberately set up to cause discord, and sees the nine alignments as false. So he goes around slaying all the gods to set up a new alignment system where it's not good/evil and Lawful/Chaotic, but something else. What the replacements are tend to vary when I'm thinking about it, but most often tends to be either something "elements of harmony based" or "Idealistic/Cynical, Analytical/Emotional".

As for my opinions of real life morality. It's more or less that we are all both good and evil to varying degrees, it's just one is more prominent at certain times. The majority of people lean towards good, but will do what is necessary to survive if threatened (ever been overly defensive when someone sneaks up on you?). And conversely, most people who commit crimes can reasonably be expected to want to turn their life around when threatened with severe punishment.

... but then again, I might be a bit too idealistic for my own good.

Guess I'd have to go with neutral good; ethics are more important to me than law and order, but I don't have a tendency to rebel.

Wait..... I just realized this is a necro thread : \

Shame on you Zexion Sephiroth!! The dark arts are forbidden you chaotic evil whelp!

Hey, Just because I have a tendency to overuse that ONE necromancy spell from pathfinder (clone); you call me evil? I am Chaotic Good, for I shall strike down the heavens and the gods for the good of all on the material plane.

...oh wait, you mean the thread. Yeah, that's not me being Chaotic Evil, it's me being Chaotic ignorant.

Chaotic neutral. I can be bad or good, but rarely sane. Depends how much people have pushed me recently.
