War-game a bit maybe with tabletop minitures though thats a pretty pricey hobby.

As for the trendy things
Listen to awful music
Try to act "edgy" and "bad-ass" yet fail at it
Smoke Weed or don't and just go around saying you do.

I don't know how nerdy this is, but I would recommend having her watch Rocky Horror Picture Show, other nerdy movies... Ooh! The Planet Earth series, have her watch that.
