I think you misread that. He's saying "It's not WarioWare so it's bad," he's saying that WarioWare did something similar but did it much better. And he's not saying it's on Steam (it's not) he's pointing out that Steam sales are going on right now, so you could almost certainly find better ways to spend $15 shopping on Steam than buying this game.

Anta baka.

You just dismissed everything he said and misread. Good fanboyism.

Not really. Just summing it up. I just don't find it necessary to review things like this. I'm not sure what anyone was expecting out of this. We may as well start reviewing DLC.

Also, I am by no means a Nintendo fanboy. Try to think of an actual argument next time. Spouting "fanboy" is really getting old.

If the game is so bad why did it get 2 stars? That seems somewhat inconsistent.

I'm actually surprised they went ahead with this. What's more surprising is the price they went with. If I wanted to play these games in this kinda way, I'd play NES drinking games with some of my friends. Sounds like a terrible waste of your time and money.

Instead of an internet spanning conspiracy by critics to pan Nintendo, isn't it more likely that some of their latest games just aren't up to snuff?

How about "Why would you think a Nintendo game is on Steam?" And "Why would you think this review was recommending buying the game in question?" Even outside of what the other person already pointed out about it currently being the Steam Winter Sale season, which is what Jim was talking about in the '$15' comment, official first-party Nintendo games have rarely ever been on non-Nintendo consoles, if at all.

OT: Sad to hear. I've never been much of a Nintendo fan anyway, but it sounds like they could've done a lot better with this than they did.

I can understand why Nintendo can coast by on the strength of their IP though. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm damn excited for the new 3DS Kirby game.

Why didn't they just sell us 1:1 ports of the original games, bundled together? It would have cost less to produce and actually have been worth the money.

Anything less would mean that there are playability issues not from an enjoyment standpoint, but from a technical one.

When reviewing, if you don't like a game in certain respects and don't find it fun on a personal level, you don't just give it a 1 star or less. A game that runs and can be played gets it some credit.

Besides a 2 out of 5 is a 40%, that is a failing grade. Really, what more do you want?
