It's definitely not hurting it. It really is amazing how few people actually read a book ON PURPOSE these days. In most cases the internet is where all of their reading/writing occurs.

I have trouble expressing myself through text, but I have been getting better with pratice, which is to say using the escapist.

Still not the best, but better than when I started.

I guess, I wouldn't say that writing on the internet has improved my writing drastically, but I suppose that it helps a bit.
