Looking at netbooks at the moment, for college.

I'm in the UK, looking for a netbook for a 5.5 hr a day commute, wanting preferably wireless and wired network options, though could prob live without wireless. Want to spend between £200 - £300 pounds. Want reliability, and quite light.

I'm looking online at reviews, and so far the samsung n210 and toshiba nb305 are both looking like good options. Anybody with more grounding in this area know anything more?

As a tip, try and find them in stores and make sure they aren't too little for your fingers. A friend of my dad's bought one only to find his fingers were way too big for it.

This is something I very much recommend. Some of the keyboards are really annoying. I'm biased towards Samsung netbooks myself :p. Also be aware the battery time quoted by the manufacturers is usually significantly off from what you actually get - but there are reviews on the internet that tell you what to expect.

One thing I wouldn't recommend is anything from Acer (Acer != Asus) - if anything goes wrong with it, you'll need to deal with Acer's notoriously bad support in the UK.

Atm I have a Samsung n150 - not had it long enough to say what my longterm thoughts on it - but going well so far. Trackpad is a bit smaller than the nc10 I think, which I sometimes miss, though I do have a bluetooth mouse (Logitech v470... it's relatively pricey, but well worth it over other bluetooth mice I've had).
