Watch through "Malcolm in the Middle".
It's even better than you remember.

Not a Netflix original show but I'll be damned if it's not the best thing on Netflix.

Luther, watch Luther, it's a police procedural drama starring Idris Elba, look I'm going to be honest here the show is basically a noire Dirty Harry set in London which means our gruff detective that doesn't play by the rules has to get really creative and clever in order to bring justice to the criminals since he can't just shoot his way out of situations because in London detectives don't have guns.

Seriously though it's fantastic, it has a great atmosphere and setting, it's well written, it has very good characters, very good themes and fantastic acting, because seriously Idris Elba is fucking good[footnote]And pretty much 100% wasted as Heimdall on the MCU.[/footnote], seriously though, watch it, it's just 3 series long and each one has like 6 episodes and all of it is fantastic.
That one. Watch that one. Then watch it again. And again. And again.
About the only thing 'bad' about the show is that a serial killer in the early part of the series basically gets away with murder and never faces justice or receives any kind of punishment, whether actual or figurative, throughout the show.

I'd also recommend Alias. It's a fantastic show chock full of 90s style spy drama. It's James Bond except for a woman being Bond. That's probably the most recent show I watched without knowing anything about it ahead of time and I'm loving every moment of it.

I finally subscribed yesterday to Netflix. I saw the first episodes of Daredevil and Derek. I really like both of them. One quick question. Should I watched Season 1 of Daredevil before I see Jessica Jones?

One big problem that I ran into on Netflix. I could not find any recent movies that are already out on DVD & BluRay. Does anyone know how long does it take to get to Netflix once it's released on videodisc?

EDIT: I just discovered that I have to pay for a DVD service separately from the streaming service. That is where I can get the newer movies. Kind of sneaky of them not telling new customers about that before they subscribe. I am still curious if anyone knows how long does it take to go from the DVD service to streaming.

I honestly can't think of much that hasn't been already said. Has someone brought up Firefly yet? That's always a good watch.

If you don't mind sitting through some romantic plot tumors, Better off Ted [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69EtBXkyJ24] is pretty good. Especially if you've ever worked in an office setting.
I love Firefly. I recommend that series for anyone who haven't seen it yet. I remembered Better Off Ted. It was one of the shows that I have always wanted to check out.
