Hey everyone, I need a little help. You see, after getting the E74 error, I sent my Xbox in to be repaired by MS, and I got it back today. I immediately tried to log into Xbox Live, but I couldn't. You see, between the time when my Xbox broke and I got it back, we had to get a new router, and this one isn't supplying my Xbox with an IP address now.

Does anyone know what I can do? Need any more info?

plug cable from xbox to router, then unplug router for 30 sec then plug back in.

if that doesnt work then use a different cable

if that doesnt work check the routers firewall on your computer.

if that doesnt work try a connection directly from the modem to your xbox

if all the above doesnt work, send it back and tell MS they screwed up your xbox

Wait, so for the first one, you're saying to plug my 360 Adapter into the Router?

ummm did you change the ssid of the router? you will probly have to delete the wireless profile and readd it

while all the info is the same, the keys will have hashed differently and knowing the way m$ does networking, the xbox tcp/ip stack won't know something's changed
