Whenever I play BF:BC2 online suddenly my wlan connection starts droping until it disconnects. It's only when playing battlefield. What's going on?

Don't know for sure if this could be the problem, but might give a try and forward the ports it needs to connect. See this for further info: http://portforward.com/

I have allowed all ports for the game, but it's only in that one game!

Your server probably just hates that game.
I think not just my server hates it. Seems like everybody does!
I'm getting tired of all the war-based FPS games that are being churned out. I want more adventure and puzzle style games dammit.

Have you tried puzzle quest 2 on xbla? It's amazing.
I'm sick of games being rushed out!

Do you know how to find your event viewer? (right click "my computer" go to manage and there checke the logs) maybe it will show some info about the system that corresponds with the time the connection dropped. It could have some useful info. Most of the time you can find on google what the error message is about.

*Edit: you could also try a telnet session on the background and check if the ports remain open. Just a thought.

Few last thougts I can come up with, but still don't know if they would do the trick:

1.) Type in your command prompt: netsh winsock reset (could be the application layer?).
2.) Just reboot the modem. (not a reset).
3.) Reconfigure the ports in the game and also in the modem.

That's about it. Good luck anyway.

This made CnC4 unplayable for me. It was also RTT and not RTS, so it was all over just screwed.
