This is pretty much based on the story of Acecombat, its a Fanfiction, (For many of you who dont know what that is, look it up. If you're confused, please PM me?

I have a lot of work written up, but I'll post one page for you to look at it.

I'm terrible at writing, yes I know.

This focuses on Avalia, a fake country in comparison to any of the other Ace Combat nations.

Center of Avalia - Saturn City- March 3rd, 2015 - 0600 Hours

"Nomad, Longbow, You're expected for a run by Saturn City, to help evacuate civilians." Ocelot had said.
1st Lieutenant Nomad was excited for his first real mission; an important one too, the flyby of Saturn City. His first plane would be the F-22, the plane he would be using today. Nomad sat in the front seat of the plane, going 500 knots. He pulled the joystick upward, as the plane increased altitude. 3 buttons were pushed, as he eased up the throttle. The attackers were not yet identified.
"All clear in Sector 5!" Nomad shouted on the Mic.
"Continue your patrol of the area" AWACS Golden Eagle said.

1st Lieutenant Longbow was fine, at the controls behind Nomad. He too was very anxious to have his first mission against an unknown enemy. The lock was set, all he had to do was press the buttons, and voila! A missile would pop out of his plane. The civilians could be easily seen crossing the imaginary borderline out of Avalia, and into Tamalia.
"Nomad, Longbow, Spotters have a possible fix on 3 bogeys, heading SW. Intercept ASAP." Ocelot Commanded.

The three bogeys held the coat of arms of Nevaska. They weren't allowed to fire on them, though somehow they would probably regret it.

"Whoa! They're not firing blanks at us! Its missing, but still! Permission to fire?" Nomad asked.
"Permission granted. All Avalian units, fire on Nevaskian soldiers. Its an all out war soldiers!" Ocelot exclaimed.

The next minute, Nomad shot 3 missiles, bagging 2 planes, and falling behind a little bit.

"Commander Kali, please lead the remaining forces out west, helping out resistance." Ocelot Commanded.
"All right... All tanks, lets go help out remaining Avalian units!" Kali exclaimed.
"3 groups of bogeys inbound, there are a bunch this time around." AWACS Golden Eagle said.
"All aerial forces, this is the NW ground forces, we're under heavy fire! Requesting aerial support immediately!" Kali exclaimed.
"I'm on it. Hold out Kali, I'll be right there. Longbow, stay here! Do not let any resistance up soldier!" I yelled.
"Nomad to Kali, I'm on my way. Hold up."
*Missiles fire from Nomad's plane.*

"C'mon soldiers, lets finish this!" AWACS Golden Eagle said.

It was 3 hours later, that they figured it out.
"Heh, there's nobody here now..." Nomad said.
"Frenzy Squadron, there are 10 squadrons inbound. Wait a second... these aren't squadrons, they're missiles! All units, take them out before they get to Saturn City! That's NOW soldiers!" AWACS Golden Eagle said.
"We're ordering and evacuation, head East now." Ocelot said.
*Planes fly East*
"Nomad, Longbow, you're cleared to land in Valian Peak." The base controller announced.
-Not for long...- Nomad thought.

Fallback Point - Valian Peak

"To all units, we're going to evacuate Avalia, to Tamalia."
*Sound of an F-22 Afterburner*

"Nomad, Longbow, you're clear to launch." The Base controller announced.
-When you're running away from your home country in retreat, it feels as if you've forgotten something. Something really important. Like a toy, or some friend. Maybe its me. I'm feeling as if I forgot something. I dont know what, but its a small presence in your body.-

----

Sorry it this might confuse you, again PM me. I hope you like it! :D

Few things I'll say, b/c I'm a pilot.

1. 300 mph is EXTREMELY slow for a fighter, 500 knots would be a better number

2. Read up on BFM and the like, it'd make everything more interesting if you could describe the dog fight.

3. This guy doesn't have a callsign and/or squadron callsign? Example, a squadron of A-6 Intruders flying in Vietnam, the entire squadron would adopt the same callsign, for instance, "Devil" which then each plane would be identified by it's side number. Example, "Devil 506, your on course heading to Wagon Train is 138, standby for squawk code."

Example 2, "Devil five-double-nuts (500,) good hunting, Spector out."

4. Radio format in America: Who you're calling, who you are, where you are, what you want to do, who you are. Example, "Alliance Tower, Cessna 52119, 4 miles northwest of the field, inbound for touch and goes, Cessna 52119."

A proper/common reply from Alliance Tower would be, "Cessna 52119, Alliance Tower, I have you on radar 3 miles northwest of the field, enter a right base for runway 16 left, cleared for the option."

Which you would reply, "Cleared for the option, Cessna 52119."

Though the military is a bit different, you get the jiff. Though I think you did a pretty good job using radio chatter that would be used in the situation.

5. Where is the guys wingman?

6. F-22 has one seat.

7. I really liked this, "-When you're running away from your home country in retreat, it feels as if you've forgotten something. Something really important. Like a toy, or some friend. Maybe its me. I'm feeling as if I forgot something. I dont know what, but its a small presence in your body.-"

In all, great job man, I'm glad you're writing. I'm especially proud of you for using so much dialogue, alot of writers won't do that and it annoys me.

Any questions about aviation hit me up with a PM

The Wingman is Longbow. You'll find the squad numbers later on. :D
Thanks for the tips. I'll post more tomorrow. Oh hell, might as well...

Square Island - Avalia - March 4th, 2015 - 0300 hours

"Kali, we're going to ask you to test a plane." an unknown voice said.
"Gah!" Kali yelled as she reached for her sidearm, pulling it out, but all she had in her hand was air.
"Relax, its Ocelot. Here is the schematics of the plane." Ocelot said.
Rubbing her eyes, she looked at the paper. She scrolled through it, catching some words. X-147D "Siber" is a new plane open to only Frenzy Squadron! It comes with the new AIM-130 Excalibur!
"Excalibur?" Kali asked.
Ocelot led Kali to a room filled with planes and weapons. Ocelot pulled a cover. A black sword stood in her face.
"This is our primary weapon? A freaking sword?" Kali exclaimed, puzzled.
"Not just a sword. Missile."
"I know that! But what makes it so special?
"Its a homing-"
"What?! You're to tell me this sword is a homing missile?"
"Yes, better than a QAAM, and this flies faster. It lasts a little longer"
Kali yawned. She was tired from yesterdays mission.
"I'm going back to sleep..." Kali said, stretching out her arms.
She got back in bed, pulled the sidearm on her leg, and pulled the covers over her. She fell asleep, dreaming of the plane.

Square Island - Avalia - March 4th, 2015 - 1000 hours

-Air Alarms Ring-
Kali and Nomad both woke up in a haste, got dressed and ready for the people who could be attacking. Longbow lay sleeping.
Both Nomad and Kali attacked Longbow with pillows, as a sign to get up. Kali almost pulled her pistol out on Longbow, but Nomad stopped her.
"Wake up!" Nomad said, simultaneously hitting Longbow with a pillow.
"Damnit! Wake up!" Nomad yelled again.
Longbow got up again, and was hit by a pillow.
"Damn you're a heavy sleeper." Kali said.
"Years of practice..." Longbow yawned.
The trio rushed onto the hangar, got inside their airplanes, and took off. Kali was in the X-147D, as the sign on the left said.
"What plane is that?" I muttered in the radio.
"Its a new plane, X-147D 'Siber'" Kali replied.
"For you?
"No, for Frenzy Squadron."
"Enough chit-chat, launch please." Ocelot said.
The trio launched into the skies. I wasnt sure if I would be Frenzy 1.
"Nomad, you're Frenzy 1, for you are the leader in the first place." Ocelot said.
"Can you read minds?"
"No... but I thought you were worried about it earlier on."
"Okay..."
Nomad led up in front, spotting a few bombers and escorts.
"All Frenzy Units! Lets go! Take them out as quickly as possible for some lunch afterward!"
I shot down a bomber, popping a few missiles out of my plane, the pilot managed to eject, or should I say pilots... The escort fighter shot at me with a few missiles, I dodged, hitting him with bullets in his fuselage. He later ejected, his plane propelling downwards. Kali finished up the remaining bombers, which they were probably all dead. My shift stick moved upward, propelling me downwards into the ocean. I shot upwards, aiming at the nearest aircraft on my IFF. Bringing up the missiles, the next bomber was taken down, I flying close to the debris, that I could see it igniting. Twenty minutes later, we saw planes leaving the airspace.
"All units, RTB." Ocelot said.
"Yes Sir!" Frenzy Reported in Unison.

Square Island - Avalia - March 4th, 2015 - 1200 hours

For all of you idiots, its Kali's point of View.

I walked up to Ocelot afterward, the heel of my shoe tip-tapping along the pavement.
"Ocelot, the plane is -" I was interrupted.
"Awesome? Do you know who designed it?" Ocelot said.
"You?"
"Guess again."
"Me?" I said sarcastically.
"Nomad. He designed the plane and the missile."
"What?! Why couldnt he fly it?" I yelled.
"Calm down, why dont you ask him your self?" Ocelot said.
"I dont know, its not like Nomad to keep secrets from us. I'll ask him later. See you later Ocelot."
"You too."

I walked down the hallway into the squadron headquarters. A dark shadow appeared in the door ahead. I felt a presence on the back of my neck. I quickly pulled out my side arm, racing ahead to open the door. I opened the door, to see Nomad with a knife in his hand, blood of the victim in front of me.
"Ah!!!!" I shrieked.
"Calm down!" Nomad said.
"Why did you..." I froze.
"Ma'am, he had a terrorist mask, no identification or any Avalian suit." Nomad said.
I glanced at the mask. I lifted it up. An Avalian face appeared.
"So basically, you just saved me, from the person?"
"Pretty much."
"We've got to show it to Ocelot."
"Maybe..."
"Can I ask a question?" Kali asked.
"Yes..."
"Ermm, why did you just fly the plane yourself?"
"Pardon?"
"You heard me."
"Well I dont know, Ocelot must've found out about the plane. I wanted to create a design of the F-16 and the F-22 mixed together. I even built AIM-130 - Excalibur."
"The new missile with green smoke?"
"Yes that one, and it wasnt that hard, I mixed and matched metals to make it."
"OK... But why me to test it?"
"Wanted your opinion."
"Its great!"
"Really? I didnt think it was that good..." Nomad said, blushing.
"Well, I'll see you around. Thanks for saving my life."
"You would have done the same to me."

I walked onwards, to the base quarters to take a bath. I could use the rest for tomorrow. As she walked in, I turned on the water, and running it until it was full. I placed my weapons on the rack ahead of her. Bringing up the water to a close, I slipped in to the water. I replayed the image of Nomad killing the person in front of me several times. I thought of it for a while. The bath was steaming, but somehow, it felt cold. My radio beeped a few times. The usual chat happened. I listened for anything about a body, but there was nothing. I driffted off to a sleep.

Square Island - Avalia - March 4th, 2015 - 1300 hours

I woke up, and glanced at my watch. The shower curtains were pulled over the bathroom, making it hard to see. I pulled the curtains a little to let in some light. I did not see any body come into the room, nor did I hear anything... but something was certainly there. I remembered that my watch came with a night light function, so I pressed that. It was 1:00. I stepped out of the bathtub, and then a figure appeared. It was a squirrel that must've appeared outside... I quickly got dressed, and appeared in the mess hall.

The mess hall was packed. I saw Nomad and Longbow picking out food from the lunch line. Well, I decided to join them. I brought up a tray from the stack. I felt something move behind me. It was another of those men that we saw an hour ago. He produced a 9mm Browning high power pistol with a silencer at my back. Quickly, I brought up my arm, lashing out in his chest. He fell instantly. silent, the gun dropping. I placed it in my pocket. I looked for anybody to watch me. Nobody was there. They were all concentrating on food. I brought the body to the room. Two attacks. Could there be a panic among the ranks? Coming back to the mess hall, I brought up a tray of food, picking out the food I liked, and sat down with Frenzy Squadron. I ate quietly, and Nomad noticed me.
"Ar yu gona finis tha? Nomad said, mouth full.
"Excuse me?" I said.
Nomad swallowed.
"Are you gonna finish that?" he asked, pointing to the half eaten salad.
"Oh. Yes, I will finish the salad." I replied.

Square Island - Avalia - March 4th, 2015 - 1400 hours

I had told Ocelot that there were assassins that tried to kill me. Twice. I also mentioned that they were Avalian.

"Well Kali, there might be some Nevaskian soldiers posing as Avalian soldiers." Ocelot replied.
"What? How could they do that?"
"Did you check the faces? Look for a mask of skin?"
"No, I didnt, Maybe I'll check now"
"Okay, see you later."

Checking the faces of the victims, there was a latex skin among it. A Nevaskian face appeared. I gasped in horror.

Here we go. :D

I had no urge to tell Ocelot about it, or he would later find out himself.

So, as I walked into the room, I locked the room, dozing off on my bed.
---

The ensign had looked like Major Kali, but she never said anything about it. The next three blue masked people came. Ocelot saw the three and pulled out his revolver, aiming and killing two of the three men. The last one ran away.

"Major!" Ocelot yelled.
He turned to see an ensign patch on the young soldiers arm. She turn and ran, puzzled.
---

Nomad and Longbow rushed into the room, after a few hours at the training room and finishing up lunch and dinner. They had rushed back to Frenzy's quarters, to see the door locked. Nomad pulled the key and opened the door. The Major lay asleep on the bed in front of them. By making sure, Nomad checked the pulse of the Major. It was still beeping.

So they left the room as is, locked. They both went to sleep.

Square Island - Avalia - March 5th, 2015 - 0100 Hours

Ocelot, as seen before, held his revolver out in his hand, searching for the people. His radio squawked
"Ocelot, we have a few helicopters over here! We're going to need assistance!"
"I'm ringing the Air Alarms now." Ocelot said.
He pushed the button. Nomad and Kali both got up, dressed, and looked at Longbow. They found a bucket on the floor nearby, took the bucket, and splashed the cold water on him.
"Doesnt the Alarm wake you up?" Kali asked
"Nope, what alarm?" Longbow replied.
Kali pointed to the glowing red light.
"Oh. Nope."
Kali laughed. After, the trio rushed to the hangar, with their pistols in front. They had jumped into their planes, and scanned for invaders. Nomad jumped in the X-147D, and saw the Nevaskian Helicopter. It was obviously masked as an Avalian helicopter. He saw the blue masked soldiers in the helicopter. He had to fire, but he had no missiles in the plane. He tried the gun, which shot a round into the helicopter, shaking it, but not destroying it. He pressed it again, this time, it unleashed a spray of bullets into the fuselage. The helicopter exploded into the air.
"Helicopter down!" Nomad yelled.
"Hmm?" Ocelot asked
"The Nevaskian soldiers..." Nomad replied.
"Oh, those guys. Nice job, RTB."
