Never judge a book by its bumper

I was driving home from work this evening, stuck in traffic etc etc.

Now, I confess I'm one of those people who really doesn't enjoy letting anyone pull in front of him - I have a 160 mile a day round trip to work and back, and I like to be moving at full speed for as much of it as possible.

Today, though I saw a car armed with a "My other car is a Yoshi" sign in the back window, and I decided almost instantly that the driver couldn't possibly be an asshole, and that I should stop and let them pull in front, whereas the Ford with all the Middlesbrough stickers can wait aaaallllll day.

So, my utterly-pointless question for the day is; what does your bumper sticker say about you, and what have you seen that say something about their owners?

If you want people to disrespect you, you should put "My kid is an honors student at 'No one gives a damn'" Congrats your kid is so smart. Now drive your stupid Geo off a cliff.

Also the "Bush/Cheney 04" Bumper stickers. Really? REALLY? It's been 5 years. Common its over already. I don't like bumper stickers unless they are really witty like the one above about Yoshi.

I laughed so hard at that Yoshi bumper sticker.

The only sticker on my car says 'Strung Out' so make of it what you will.

One that sticks in mind is 'My other ride is your mother', yes, when I saw that I instantly thought "what a twat".

I personally find the ones that are trying to convert you hilarious - who changes their entire belief system because a sticker says so?
They don't?! So that's why Scamism hasn't got any followers yet...

With that bumper sticker he couldn't be.

My car does not have a bumper sticker so...

this was utterly anti-climatic. I was expecting you to end this with something like, "but it turned out I was wrong, the dude with the Yoshi sticker was a douche, and the Ford seemed really nice once he somehow managed to get in front of me." That scenario is normally what plays out after someone begins talking about "Never judge a book by it's cover..." or something. I think the better phrase here woulda been "It's ok to judge a book by it's cover."
Touché... except I'm a Sony kid - so the fact I even thought Yoshi-man would be okay kinda threw me, hence the pointless thread.

Mine's (or not mine, but close enough) a little like that. "My porsche is at the garage". Me and my sister gave it to our dad when we began to become embarrased at his car.

Damn sir, 160 miles to get to work each day? Hope you get a subsidy for your fuel. I have to say that the Yoshi bumper sticker would set off warning bells in my head, since in my area most of the people around my age or younger are pretty terrible drivers.

Don't make pointless threads! Jokes aside, as I lack a car I don't have any bumper stickers. I also dislike them in general (unless they are clever) and especially dislike the political ones (such as the Bush/Cheney 04 and McCain/Palin 08).

That bumper is epic.

I sadly do not have a car, so no bumper for me. Though I wonder if you're house could count as one...
You know... After reading a sampling of your posts over the last few weeks I have come to agree with you. Your life is really quite sad.

De-motivational speaking is the way to go.

You should've been all, "Jesus would be awfully fucking disappointed in you for being such a ****."
haha, yea want to know the shitty part? I got it ripped off my car in, out of all places, The Museum of Tolorence here in LA...what kind of shit is that. And they left a note about praying for me wtf?!
Stick it to your car, with a new fish.

I saw a REALLY old clunker puttering down the road once, and the driver seemed to acknowledge this, his bumper sticker said "You should've seen the other car". Good thing I wasn't driving, I laughed a bit too hard.

I don't like bumper stickers. They seem low class. And you don't put bumper stickers on really nice cars, that says something doesn't it?

I once saw this guy, he had like a honda civic or something. It had a bunch of bumper stickers. One that said "Heart boobies," one that said "For such a small town there sure are a lot of assholes" and one that said "I have the perfect body, it's in my trunk"

He also had a LInkin Park sticker. I ran him off the road.

I'm not much for bumperstickers, but I love the one that says, "You should be looking at the road."

My family doesn't have any so I can't talk about me however there is one which is awesome. It says (in latin) "If you can read this you are both very intelligent and way too close to my car".
