I, for one, wouldn't mind watching a full-length documentary feature on Columbia, but then again, I liked The Blair Witch Project, so my taste in fake documentaries is already questionable.
But... that was a good movie! D:

OT: This a creative way to hype up the game. I like it. Though, it does have some suggestive ideas and possible spoilers within it, like...
... saying that no one knows where Columbia went and is missing to this day. Makes me think it possibly landed in the sea which became the basis for Rapture.
I'm just theorizing, though. Who knows what it really means?

Also, switch to 240p for the full 80s experience!
I am sorry to burst your bubble but I am 99% sure that bioshock infinite is a sequel in the same way final fantasy games are sequels, different continuity but the games share a great many traits (with 99% sure I mean I am 99% sure that it was an official statement that this is set in a different universe when the game was first announced).

OT: I would by a full length documentary of this, it would make a god damn awesome collectors edition item.

The trouble with a late '80s fake documentary is, by that time, aircraft and satellites were commonplace. Cities are big. Unless it crashed into an ocean. Still, it's a good trailer.

The game is set in 1910 or thereabouts. No satellites to worry about.

The trailer documentary is set decades after the fact.
