New Call of Duty Wars

How about we go a completly different route and base the war in the irish civil war (I.R.A and Prods) it's what I have to live with so it could show the world what it's like and be something to the usual "America is greater than any other country"

While it could make a great game, I wouldn't like to see the reaction if it actually got made at this point in time.

We're only now reaching a point where everyone is getting along... something like that could get a few people riled up!

But yeah... could make a cool guerrilla style game.

And hey, it was America who ended that war too don't ya know... good old Bill (that was a joke by the way before anyone goes mental)

Why not have a WW2 game where we play as the Nazis for a change? I've probably killed more Nazis in games than any other type of character (Zombies, goombas, hopefully you get what I mean). Why can't we get a game where we kill Americans as the enemy for a change?

i once played a game of Left 4 Dead and someone joined our Australian Sever they then started talking and the rest of us realised it was a yank, we asked politely if he was and he got all defensive, we had speedily kept going through the mission but he lagged behind a bit and got killed so he screamed over the microphone "Well i can see this server is full of a bunch of American Hating punks" and left

That is why we cant have america as an enemy in game, America will see it as something that is directing hate towards them and get really pissed off.

I was thinking Vietnam but that may seem almost the same as CoD5 + I was reading a book about it and some of the stuff they did in the war. It would be to graphical to put in any game.

That wouldn't happen to be The Things They Carried, right?

I'd like a Falklands War game, just to get back at them and kick some British ass.

how about burma? there's the endless civil war going on there a la rambo, and you could fight for the rebels or something maybe? or south america/africa and another of the civil wars going on in these places?

You are aware that the Korean War is essentially the same as World War 2, right? The only difference is a few updated vehicles (which you wouldn't be using in a COD game anyway) the location and you'll be killing Koreans and Chinese instead of Nazis.

Quite aware thankyou, but it's the places and people that make a conflict, and in that regards the Korean Civil war was a far cry from WW2.

Places and people may make a conflict, but guns and ways of fighting make a video game. If you want to experience what made the Korean War unique you're better off watching a documentary.

It is the total military manpower of said countries. You might notice North Korea to have almost twice as much as America.. Just saying. Ofcourse America has more weapons and technology but still...

I believe he meant that if North Korea invaded the US obviously there would be conscription. Also, the privately owned guns within America alone probably outmatches what the North Koreans would be armed with.

While this is still WWII. I'd like to see a CoD where you fight in some of the less 'famous' battles. Kakoda, Tobruk, that one a bridge too far was based on etc. That'd be awesome.

Hear me out here,
I know it will never happen but I think it would be really interesting if they made Call of Duty Gang Wars. From Compton to Brazil, Detroit to Africa, the action never stops.

It would be interesting to fight through residential areas and it could have a great story.
I see some other company doing this better tho.
