new characters for next super smash bros?

Abraham Lincoln. I would love to play as Abraham Lincoln in a Super Smash Bros. game.

If it's gotta be something from another game, though, I'm gonna go with Cecil from Final Fantasy IV. He could use a Zelda/Shiek, Samus/Z-Suit Samus style switching system to "Class Change" between a Dark Knight and a Paladin. The Dark Knight would have very powerful attacks, but would damage himself when using "B" specials. The Paladin would be less powerful, physically, but his specials could potentially be much more damaging, and safer to use besides.

FFIV was remade for the DS not too long ago, so I'm holding out hope that this could actually happen.

I'd like to see Shadow as a sort of slower Sonic, but with his kung-fu moves from '06.
Whoever thst one Assist Trophy guy is with the gun/sword thing, he'd be awesome to play as (B for rapid fire gun, ->B for sword...)
Any of the other hunters from Prime 3, but especially Gandrayda.
Any of the other hunters from Prime Hunters, especially Trace.
Jade from Beyond Good and Evil
Crystal from Star Fox Adventures

The game has too many characters already. Instead of adding more, maybe just refine the ones they have.

Also - No Kingdom Hearts characters, and no more Fire Emblem dudes. I don't want anymore sad-faced-baby-faced-generic-weeaboo pleasing japanese characters clogging up the roster.

I agree with all the people saying Tales of symphonia characters.

The series basically grew up on the nintendo consoles, how the hell did we not get Lloyd?
And there Final Smashes can just be their Hi-ougi's, right?

Geno (of course, he's so badass), Kamek, Waluigi (they have all the other ones, might as well), Slippy Toad, one of the villains from Metroid (haven't played any of the games, though I would like to), Simon Belmont, Ringo Starr (already have Snake and Sonic, why not), Mallow (as an assist trophy), Arceus (come out of pokeball the least out of all, and kill everyone on the screen except for the user), Clive Winston (assist trophy), bring Mewtwo back, a Bonkers from Kirby, Wham-Bam Rock or Wham-Bam Jewel (as a boss), Little Mac, Piston Hondo, and Paper Mario (with a various assortment of pixls).

That robot bounty hunter from Metroid Prime 3 would be a nice heavy character.

Other than that I'd love to see Isaac from Golden Sun, and Lloyd or Kratos from Tales of Symphonia. Also, get rid of Lucario and put Mewtwo back in as well as Roy.

Oh, and a Custom Robo would be awesome! (Halberd is preferable because that was my favorite)
