Well here's the new Dark Knight trailer, that was apparently unlocked by fans.

Thoughts?

Personally, it hasn't really added much for me, except for perhaps a little excitement. And the reminder that while Anne Hathaway may end up making a good Catwoman, I think that Olivia Wilde would've been better, which somebody here pointed out (I think it was Daystar but not sure =P)

Roll on July, anyway.

Well it's definitely got me excited too. As all trailers should, it gave me chills. I can't wait :).

Jesus Christ on a bicycle.
Not sure if more excited for this, or Amazing Spider-Man...
I had my doubts about the other trailer, but this gets rid of them all. Mainly it was Bane's voice that fucked up; you couldn't understand the guy. Now it's much better.

Another first-ticket for the hype train, please. Yes, I know I already brought ones to stop off at Prometheus and The Amazing Spider-Man, but still.

Jesus, the more info they throw out, the more it looks like they're actually gonna kill off Batman at the end. I'll give Nolan credit where it's due, he may have made the first mainstream superhero movie where we won't know whether the hero lives or dies at the end.

Also I'm totally expecting a snarky comment from Moviebob on his next video about this.

Looks like Michael Kane is reprising his role as Michael Kane.

Also seems Catwoman isn't one of the villains, but Batman's sidekick with benefits.

Here's what I hope. In the final scene, no matter what it is, the camera will slowly trail downwards towards a corner of a table. And on that table is a metal spinning top spinning non-stop. I think nothing will make people question their humanity more than seeing an Inception drop out of nowhere. I know this won't happen, but I was Chris Nolan I would totally do that and troll the entire world.

I disagree wholly, it's now actually coherent and I know what the fuck he's saying. I don't wanna spend two hours listening to an adult from the Charlie Brown cartoons.

Well considering Nolan used Knightfall as one of his inspirations and the previous movies talk a lot how one day Gotham will no longer need Batman......

I honestly think Bruce Wayne will die but Joseph Gordon Levitts character will take up the mantle of the bat

Also, the trailer is way better than the previous one, other than the atrocious voice with the now present Japanese accent.

They better not. That would suck so bad. Batman isn't just a schmuck with a bunch of gadgets, he has had years and years of training with a ninja master. If they kill him, they should just kill him and not try any goofy shit with it.
I would actually quite like it, it would show that Batman is more than a man, he is an ideal. That people who believe in good will always fight against corruption and criminals like Bane and The Joker

Okay, I am now more hyped for this film than I was before. And that's saying something. Also, I think seeing Batman and Bane fight hand to hand here is now simply more confirmation of my rather obvious suspicions. This will be the movie where Bane 'breaks the Batman'. You all know what I'm talking about...

Also, I refer everyone to this rticle if they haven't already read it. Madness? Maybe. But chillingly, weridly, in the realm of possibility... ;D

It doesn't have to be a different guy under the same hood, though. I find the whole idea of a different guy simply taking it over frankly devaluing of all the sacrifices and hardships Bruce went through.

And again, from a purely practical standpoint, Bruce is the best Batman possible. He's super smart, trained for years and years and is well placed for such a position due to the wealth. Having some random scrawny cop (that's what Levitt plays, I think) replace him is implausible as well.
Its not devaluing it though, Batman isnt just defined by his physical and mental attributes, his belief in good and moral code are just as important. Without those he would be no better than the criminals he kills defeats. Besides we dont even know what Levitts character is like, even if he doesnt quite match Batmans physical profile he could easily check the all the others.
