If you followed yesterday's case you should know how to play. I'll give you symptoms, you give me a diagnosis



Patient admited at 12:00 noon EST. Presented with Anosmia and Ageusia. Initial scans revealed necrotic lesions in the forebrain...
Lets hear the differential .....

He's quite obviously suffering from Freemanitis, an infection which is known to affect the stubble, hair and facial structure of a fairly tall male.

Check for heavy metals, and if they use drugs. Also, check for arsenic.
Finally, check home, work, and family history.
Let's go, people.

No drugs, heavy metals.... No arsenic, Home is a dirty old loft but we checked everything, nothing that would cause this. Work is clean and no history of serious disease in the family...

He drinks, doesn't smoke. no marks or rashes, but he's exhibiting three new symptoms. Massive headache, nausea, and rigidity of his neck muscles...

I think it might be primary amoebic meningoencephalitis, I suggest treatment with heroic doses of Amphotericin B, although his chances are slim if I'm correct...

Brain biopsy revealed that the P.A.M diagnosis is correct, however because of the delay from when he was admitted and when we figured it out, we were too late. Time of Death called at 5:17 EST

(Damn, I'm surprised you got that one dude.........)
