I'll beat it in 8hrs then. ME1 7 hours, Fallout 3 4 hours CoD mw2 2 hours, BO 3 hours. I don't have time for a freaking 25 hr game.

Also 25 hours on a fps how many disc will this thing be?
When you say you beat FO3 in 4 hours... You did replay it and go exploring and whatnot, right?

Also, I'll just get it off Steam.
Not side quest it was good I just blazed through the main. In NV i'm already 4 hours in and in the "starting zone" idk why i'm patient with that and not much else.

If its 25 hours of well-paced, engaging, and non-repetitive gameplay then consider me in.

As long as they don't forget what made the original so memorable (the atmosphere, the conversation, the solid gameplay), I might actually believe that claim.

I didn't understand a word of that.

Lol thats what I get for posting and driving, despite my ego perhaps i'm not great at using my archaic little CDMA Hero. I think it was supposed to be. "No I didn't do side quest, it was a good game I just blazed through it. In fallout NW i'm 4 hours in and havn't even started the main questline, I'm not sure why i'm taking my time with it instead of blazing through it like most games."

My expectations just went down. I don't trust them to come up with enough good material for 25 hours. Also, regarding the "those who like do everything" twit: a Deus Ex game and a role-playing game in general is worse for it if you can do everything. True choices with lasting consequences FTW.

One really has to hope that "Everything" doesn't refer to meaningless side quests added for padding.

It's very unlikely, but,it's just the impression I get as of late.

Oh my goodness, 2011 will be one hell of a year. Just for the record, Mass Effect 2, with all DLC, in my first run took me ~40 hours and the first Deus Ex took me like ~20 hours.

I've grown on a time were games were actually longer than your standard 8 hour fare and today a game that's even longer than 8 hours is pretty rare these days.

"The ones that are more casual gamers, who are used to more 'corridor, cut-scene, corridor, cut-scene' type of gameplay - they play it that way for a while," he continued.
...I don't think I have ever seen a greater mischaracterisation of non-core/expanded audience gamers. And there is the whole use of the term "casual"...

Nevertheless, in this day and age where games tend to be quite short, it is refreshing to see a title that promises to last a significant amount of time. I guess I will remain optimistic.

Heres hoping they didn't pad the gameplay to make it that long and actually gave us 25 hours of content :p
