New Escapist Design Slower?

Has anyone else had issues with load time ever since the new design update? Before it was almost an insta-load, but now it seems to be chugging a bit. I just need to know if it's widespread, or if I just need a browser update.

My speed is about the same with IE 8

My speed's the same, except for videos I occasionally have to refresh the page up to 3 times for them to work correctly.

That is true. I don't think it's slower, but I much preferred the old design. So do all of my friends. (In Real Life...not Escapist Friends.)

I can't reliably watch the videos, but besides that everything is the same here.
