Since the Escapist updated the website's look (which, other than this problem, I really like by the way) I've noticed that the font used for forum text is almost impossible to read. Some letters are almost completely invisible because the letters are all really thin.
I'm using Internet Explorer 9 (shock horror I know) and I've noticed that on Firefox the text is fine and readable. Also changing the font options in my profile doesn't affect forum posts.

Was just wondering if there is anything I can do, or if not, just raising the problem so that people know about it.

Has anyone else had this problem, and is there a support forum or something to post this in so something can be done about it?

<url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/chat/Escapist-Redesign-Information>This User Group is probably the best way to get heard about this. I haven't personally had any problems, but I'm on Chrome, not IE9.

Weird, my font got really big for a couple of days, like everything was bolded, but it's back to normal now.

I got no problem, seriously, why use IE? As a developer sometimes I make everything work perfectly in Firefox and Chrome, but fucking IE derps all over the place and it doesn't work, hell, I've just given up on some versions of IE and if the site detects an old version of IE it will just redirect to a page saying 'To view this site please upgrade your Internet Explorer to the latest version' and a link to where they can update it (Note that I don't do this for sites I get paid to do, just the ones I do for fun or friends)

Under FORUMS and STORE in the top right there's a little gear, hover over that for font settings.

When you bold the 't's they look really weird

look at this t

They are tiny, and it's really offputting to read. I thought bolding text made it bigger, not reduce the size.

Change your browsing settings. The drop down menu appears when you mouse over this icon (click it for further options)

This. I am embarrassed that people can see my name when I post, and they get an eye-full of this limp t in the middle of other, grander letters. I'm hoping someone will change that.

I have changed those settings and it makes no difference to forum posts. It changes the font in news articles and other features, but doesn't affect forum titles, posts and some of the banner text used on the site.

For ie push the alt key when on the forums. Go to tools and click on compatibility view. This should make it work for you. Credit goes to google.

I guess something has been changed on the Escapist side, because I can actually see everything today. Thanks for everyone's suggestions anyway.
