Hiya escapists.

Sort of a minor thread this, but I'm annoyed by something, and I need to know if I'm doing something wrong or if this is happening to everyone.

Okay, so I wanted to embed an image in a post, right? I upload images to facebook, so I can get an image adress to use for embedding. I even have a folder named "uploading purposes".
Now recently, facebook came up with a new layout: When you click a thumbnail, the image appears in a black frame, hovering over the screen you found the thumbnail on. While I didn't like this design, it didn't really bother me.
However, when I wanted to embed an image I discovered that when I right-click on the image, there is no option to "copy image adress" like there used to be. Copying the URL is also useless.
This bothers me.

So does this only happen to me, or are you other people also experienceing this problem?
Do you know of any ways to fix it?

I hate it with a fiery passion - I always open images in a new tab now, it still works the same that way.

...Switch to Tinypic?
I can't be bothered with Facebook. If it's annoying or doesn't work, just don't use it. :/
Sorry I can't be more help.

Aaah. Thank you!
I can now embed my images.

Is there some kind of petition to get rid of the layout?
Edit: Found one. There's only three members though.

My god, thank you! I've been using Chrome to "inspect element" and then attacking the html code in order to copy the image url.

Saves me so much time now!

Oh no, you can't use Facebook's bandwidth on other sites.

You could always try one of the many many many many many many many many sites that exist for the express purpose of doing exactly what you want to do.

Those petitions never accomplish anything. Facebook has an "adapt or find another very popular social networking site." attitude.

Can't do that?

Darn! Guess you've got to deal with it then!

In anycase, I'm not a fan but I do the same thing as DuplicateValue there does.
