Well it's been three nights of sub Quatermass aliens shenanigans. Is this new five nights a week slot making it worse or better?

Torchwood is something I hate normally but Im quite enjoying this! So that's a surprise.

Whats your take on all this! No spoilers please

ewwww Torchwood XD

I thought it was kinda weird when I found out that it was gonna be on for 5 nights. Won't people just get bored?

I think I'd get bored even if it was my favourite show

Up until tonight's episode it was basically people running around to dramatic music. However, for some reason I have really been enjoying it. I'm expecting some sort of crazy twist tommorrow as we find out what the children are for. The acting for the most part has been good (strange for Torchwood, but hey) except for the guy playing the Prime Minister, who sounded like an evil supervillian when he was doing his 'reassuring speech to the nation'.

You are aware that the only reason it's on for 5 consecutive nights instead of once a week is because it got cut from 13 episodes to 5, right?

Hmmm, I thought it was only one week it was running for? If thats so, then it works perfectly; my instinct has become "watch a sci-fi season in its entirty within 1 week, not one week at a time" - I blame bittorrent and cheep dvd boxsets for this of course...

Besides, I find Torchwood a hell of a lot more enjoyable that Dr Who (hmmm, better not say that too loud, don't want to get roasted alive) Season 2 was great

Liking it so far.

it's a pretty good political intrigue plot as well as being a classic sci-fi aliens-coming-to-earth plot.

I've been really enjoying it so far... still missing my favorite character though.
My only grumble was the goo spraying by the 456 got a little silly after the first time.

Yeah, I was just sat there thinking 'Maybe these aliens are getting a little TOO excited'.

i have to wait till the 20th to see it

the space channel in canada is showing it at reasonable time, instead of the cbc that will wait months to show things they co-produced and helped finance

Hey, question -- what season is Torchwood up to? I've just started watching Season 2 on XBL (only seen the first two eps).

I'm liking it so far. I think the 5-episode-long-single-story allows them to get deeper in the story, refinig the focus of the plot.

Best. Show. Not quite ever, but in a long time.

Why does everyone always hate on torchwood? This season went great. So well, infact, that they're probably make a fourth season.
