New game releases - Week of September 24, 2017

I finally manage to scrape my way back to the Escapist after spending 4 years lost in the Amazon Rainforest and this is how I'm rewarded?! Lists? Lists of games?! Not on MY Escapist! I'd rather have hordes of ravenous spambots tear the site apart word by word, pixel by pixel, than have it be host to this... this... CONTENT! *spits* You've ruined the Escapist, congratulations!

I mean, I guess then it really depends on your preference and mine is a little less broad than that selection. Despite that, it just feels like there haven't been any big showstoppers (at least from my point of view). Don't play much in the way of consoles.

I mean, i actually waited for the Total Warhammer 2 release this weak. And just two weeks after Divinity : OS II. And there have been a lot of other nice things this year on PC. Granted, many are expansions like War of the Chosen or Mandate of Heaven while the last year subjectively seems to have had more good base games, but overall i am pretty happy as non-console palyer atm.


And yes, i like this new series. Might notice some nice games i would otherwise miss and it also can spawn discussions about new things.

Cuphead and Ruiner. Glorious week for old school arcade style gaming. Absolutely mind blowing good games.
Also why hate on 'Senran Kagura', they do their shtick and they do it flamboyantly good. One of my wife's fav games is 'Senran Kagura Bon App?tit!'. I'm helplessly bad at rhythm games but authors created sexy, lavish, mischevious and cheerful theme, that you had to have a stick rammed up your ass all the way up to the throat no to smile to. Even if you like me are not really prone to correctly fill up the sequences.

Ruiner is a game that interests me, everything DEVOLVER produces is generally good.
