So, while on the topic of used games and how cheap they are, I remembered seeing just yesterday a few brand new games really cheap for the PS3.

I saw the Dead Space 2 Limited Edition for ?15, and Fallout 3 for ?7.

What other examples have you come across?

Fallout 3 is not a new game. It was released in what, 2008?

Not new.

Neither is Dead Space 2, it was released in something like January last year, so year and a half old. Not hugely new.

I mean new, as in, not-used.

Ok... I still don't see any discussion value.
So you saw some old games that haden't been opened.
Alright. Good for you.

Yeah, thanks for your valuable input.

Anyway, the point is to share games that are cheap that aren't in the used market. Who knows, someone might just be interested and find a bargain.

Except you haven't said where you saw these games. So yeah, you haven't helped anyone.
Why do you get off being such an ass?

OT: In England games get incredibly cheap after about a month of two after release. On the Subject of Dead Space 2, it went from £40 to £15 in a matter of a month, it's pretty insane. I just feel sorry for the people who bought it full price.

Those games that I mentioned, and a few others, are actually cheaper new than used at the very same store. Our local GAME also frequently stocks new games that are cheaper than their used counterparts. They had Castlevania: Lords of Shadow new for ?15 and used for over twice that ammount.

They also had Ace Combat: Assault Horizon new for ?15, and used for ?50.

Also, I was wondering the same as for your first question, but those are best left unresolved.

Thousands of games for free, 99 cents or $1.99 on the app store or android market as far as the eye can see. It's amazing. So many wonderful new cheap games.

And neither, making this a whole happy fun circle, have you.

Actually, I pointed out the fact he missed a detail. A pretty important detail, as you can't buy a game if you got nowhere to buy it from. If you were going to search for it, chances are you were going to already and thus the OP was entirely superfluous.

That wasn't your only comment though was it? Everything you've said has just been snide remarks.

Maybe, maybe. Though after criticising me for helping, I noticed that you still haven't contributed...

I would suggest at this stage that people simply avoid Giglamesh (by the way, it's Gilgamesh) and move on with the topic.

I got distracted by your comments. I must point out that you haven't contributed either.

Anyway OT: ShopTo's eBay outlet is good for new games. I got SSFIV:AE for like £12

Thats because I don't have any secret sources of cheap games, as I get them from steam. I just pointed out the flaws in Iwata's comments. Helping, but in a certain kind of way.

Nah. Gilgamesh is unrelated. It wasn't a misspelling. Besides, my comments were to do with the topic in question.

Zavvi is reasonably good for cheap games. A couple of games from March was down to about £15 already and Prototype 2 (which only came out like three weeks ago) is already under £30

Why didn't you just say that in the first place? That adds more to the discussion than what you were doing.

'I don't know about retail but I get my games from Steam. You can get really cheap games in the sales etc.' Something like that?

Because I'm pretty sure very few people do't know about Steam on the escapist, especially with the constant comparisons with Origin. So pointing out flaws in the OP's statements was the only way to effectively contribute.

If that was the only way you felt you could have contributed then perhaps you shouldn't have contributed at all.
