Ive been happily using the Creative Fata1ty headset for a long time. Ive been through 3 all told but am no-longer happy to buy a new one (see quote).
Im after a wired headset, with a decent mic that is comfortable to wear over glasses for extended periods but I dont really want to pay more than £40 for it.
The first 2 I was fine with. On the first one I broke the mic when I stood on it and on the second I yanked the cable clean out of the headset when I stood up to get the door.
The 3rd one, however, had this issue that after a while the cable started to twist and tangle into little mini loops. It wasnt a problem to begin with but it started to get annoying because it began to drastically shorten the effective length of the cable and me having to straighten it before and later during gameplay. This problem continued until repeated straightening weaken the cable to the point it just snapped.
