I personally like the tone of the more action orianeted missions like these as in the other games we never really see 47 acting like a bad ass.

For most of use, using a gun during a mission was an absolute no no as it brought your rating down.

That is why I like this new game play, more options for a good hit other than drugging some donought and strangling some guys.

Does this look anything like a Hitman game? Still nope.

Does it look like it'll be fun to play regardless. Most definitely.

Still, it's a shame that it isn't shaping up to be more like Blood Money. Lord knows we could use some variation in our big budget videogames right now.

I think that this mission was specially picked to show of cool action sequences.

I doubt they will all be like this.

People keep saying this over and over, yet we're shown absolutely no evidence that it's true. I'm somewhat skeptical.

I don't remember the other Hitman games having such an action-oriented focus in the lead up to their release.

I've never play a Hitman game however I get the feeling that this is going to be the best game ever in the franchise!!!...Sorry.

It looks like the Splinter Cell I've always wished for.

Agent 47 isn't really a guerilla warfare specialist. He is a silent assassin - that mission/video is totally not his style. He is a ghost, walks in, does the job, walks out - nobody suspects anything. Until they find the bodies, and even then the death wouldn't be pinned on 47. He doesn't exist. There are only rumours of him floating around. Going and just shooting everybody, isn't what a non-existing person does.

I dunno, going in ballers blazing as shown in this clip was perfectly possible in previous HM games. But I do wish the trailer showed some sneakiness like hiding bodies, poisoning the cake, hanging from an elevator shaft and piano-wiring a guard... because ultimately that's where the real soul of the games lie, and I have no way of knowing from this clip if that's still there.

Also, the original voice actor is supposedly not in it, so 47 won't sound as himself. Also, no Jesper Kyd.

I'm sceptical, but I'm keeping an eye on it. I just hope it's more like Blood Money and Silent Assassin, and not at all like that fucking movie that by the way never happened.

True, but they weren't the methods of play that were true to the character.

Then again, it's the player's choice of what 47 does. I personally like the stealthy approach. Gives me more of a challenge.

Glad this looks so different from Blood Money.

Because I didn't like Blood Money. :(

Might get this one, and just play it stealthy. Run n gun ain't my style, but I've felt Blood Money was just...clunky.

Wake me up when they show something like Hitman, and not like yet another game that's gone for an action approach to please everyone but the people who actually like the fucking games.

At this rate, I fully expect the next MS Flight Simulator to revolve entirely around shooting other planes down whilst they strip out simulation stuff so it doesn't offend anyone by asking them to use a modicum of intelligence.

I think ill play it first then decide whether its a Hitman game or not.

Until then, ill just ignore everyone elses opinion.

The trailers for the Hitman games have always been action oriented with lots of gunfire so nothing to get worked up about, yet atleast.

If the game isn't going to have a rating system I'm gonna be pissed.

OT: I have no reason to give up hope on Hitman based on a trailer, but I am skeptical about the future of videogames. At this rate they're all going to become samey. I yearn for more innovation. (note: comment not based on Hitman trailer)

Read and watch everything else they've shown of it, that should help you along the way.

Cannon has it he's always done every mission with a maximum stealth approach.

And I love it too. In Blood Money it was ridiculously awesome that you were even expected to go back for the suit

The first two Hitman games had a few missions which were pretty combat orientated, the drug lords compound in the first game being one I remember quite vividly.

So I don;t think it'll be any different, maybe just a bit more fluidity towards a more action orientated approach compared to the others.

I seriously can't wait for this game! It looks amazing and I will be buying it despite the fact that I've never been good at shooter games, let alone Hitman. I'm really hoping that I was just inexperienced back then and it'll be better now. xD I can't turn down Agent 47
