Did you miss out on the Frozenbyte Bundle last year? Were you disappointed when the third bundle gave the second one as a bonus, instead of the Frozenbyte one? Well, I've got some good news. There's a new "bundle" out which, for the pay what you want section, only includes Frozen Synapse. However, if you go over the average (which is currently under $4), you also get the entire Frozenbyte bundle. It's for a good cause, and they're supposed to be pretty good games (I have yet to play any of them), so if you're interested, hop on down and chip in a few bucks. Worst case scenario, you're out the price of lunch at McDonalds, and you just donated to charity. Best case scenario, you're out the price of lunch at McDonald's, and you just got one or more really good games (seriously, I don't know how good these are; there's usually only one really good game in each bundle.)

Oh, also, in addition to the standard DRM free installer, Steam keys, and Desura keys, with this bundle you also get Direct2Drive keys and OnLive keys. So if you use either one of those services, that's a bonus.

The link, as always, is http://www.humblebundle.com/

Edit: Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Humble Bundle Inc. or anyone else who stands to make money from this (although I do have a certain fondness for the EFF.) I'm just a gamer who saw that there wasn't a thread about this yet, and thought you guys would like to know -- there's always a thread about the Humble Bundle anyway. I realized after writing this that it looked a bit too much like a paid advertisement, which it most definitely is not.

Frozenbyte's games are really good. I bought all three for $30 off Steam and it was money very well spent. Trine in particular is brilliant.

I don't really have any interest in Frozen Synapse though. I don't like the idea of a one game "bundle" at all... I wish they'd included another game or two. Then I'd be happy to toss some money their way.

Edit: Well, 15 mins later I decided to buy it anyway. Gave half the money to Frozenbyte since I'm really only contributing to Trine 2's development and getting Splot anyway.

OMG! That's worth it just for Trine, I'd pay pay 1000$ for Trine alone if I had money and a credit card.

Wow the Jack Claw prototype was actually awesome. Your character has an extendable claw for a right arm and can grab onto objects and swing them around and throw them. A great destruction engine makes for a lot of fun.

I would have bought a full game of it.

I wonder if I can get my old PayPal account to work, it had a couple of bucks on it. I know, I'm terrible for donating a bare minimum, but it's all I've got...

EDIT: Well, I donated all of $1.95 to charity, I wish I had real money to donate. But, that was all that was on this ancient PayPal account I forgot I had. I'm lucky I saved the old Visa Gift Card I used to make it because it wouldn't take my other ones to verify the account...

I wish to add to the Trine love. 'Tis a thing of beauty.

I only wished for a broader variety of enemies, but that was a minor niggle.

Awesome! I've never really seen them but apparently they were great, and I just happen to have 4$(well, more really, but that's besides the point :p) available. Thing is though, I recently bought the Magicka collection because of the discount and haven't played it since, I bought Alpha Protocol for 2$ and haven't tried it, and I got the Potato Sack with Portal 2 and have only tried about half the games there, and now I will have a whole bundle(see what I did thar?) of other games gathering dust.
