Realy? wow. well think of a third party 360 exclusive that would be worse in some way on the PS3 then. (dont just say Xbox live becaue PSN is almost as good and its FREE)
Dead or Alive 4.
Why?
agreed. the PS3's pad is better for that game. it has better processing power and a better online community (less mike's=better)

(i hate mic's, nothing agaisnt people named mike :D sorry couldnt pass it up)

I wasnt completly disagreeing with him, I just wanted him to defend his position. I hate people in debate who use the Im right, you go prove me wrong argument. No your job is to prove yourself right, we dont have to prove a negative. I havnt played DoA4, so I cant say much, but i really cant think of a reason for it to not be as good on PS3, baring a god awful port job.
perfectly reasonable to want me to defend my argument but you have to have something to add to the discussion... (say a 360 third party exclusive)

Dead or Alive 4.

First of all, some ports have a bad habit of sucking. If you can't see, im bringing you Mafia:The City of Lost Heaven and Ghost Recon 2. Second of all, the game was made under a agreement between Tecmo and Bungie (late in development, I think). Losing that would lose Spartan 458 NICOLE and a stage based off the Halo World. Third off all, the PS3 has a better processing power. If Tecmo screws up and makes it a direct port, it should mean bastardized frame rates. And the dead or alive series was tailor made for 12 yr old douches, and the PS3 doesnt have that many ppl who are the 12 yr old douches

Of course, I was naming games (yes, im that lazy to search any third party exclusives). Microsoft generally doesn't have third party exclusives, and Dead or Alive 4 was the first game that came in my mind. I dont play DoA, I dont play Fighting games -.-

alll your reasons are the lose of one exclusive character that could of been replaced by say Kratos, BAM fixed, and a bad port. If tecmo did a good job on the port there wouldn't be any problems, Im not saying your flat wrong, but i am saying your reasons are the weakest possible. I could say COD would suck on Xbox if they made the game play like you were in jello, the guns just randomly decided if you hit someone no matter where you were shooting and every three feet your characters pants would turn into a skirt and you would die.

That game would really suck wouldn't it? would that be because of teh consul it was on or just shitty development? i think its the latter, if you think its the consuls fault, them um... got nothing :D
Like I said, nothing came to my mind when I was thinking of a legit 360 exclusive. Even if the game I thought of wasnt on the PS3/Wii, it was on the PC (and getting the Steam treatment). Dead or Alive 4 was one of those games that had a pure 360 release not having MS publishing it (Bungie is Activision'd, if you dont remember).

bungie was only recently made part of activisions development partners. And I think pc and 360 is basicly a 360 consul exclusive
Okay, then FlatOut Ultimate Carnage.
Its hard to sell a game that was a remake of another game. Plus, the PS3 pad wasnt really made for racing games, because of the triggers and the analog sticks.

That is a great viewpoint to hear. While I was not interested too much in Heavy Rain, I think games of its ilk that try and break the mold in some way are what keep games interesting in the first place.

We just need more successful IPs that follow along their own lines more than attempting to be a Halo, God of War, Final Fantasy, ect. clone. I think then we would see a higher pick up of people buying different games. What if you don't like Halo and every other game at a given time is trying to emulate that playstyle? I know that I can't stand turn-based JRPGs like Final Fantasy and when the next one comes out, often mimicking another, I get my hopes quickly lost because it's more of the same.
