A while ago my laptop broke due to the fact it was an 8 year old bargain bin laptop that was given to me for free because it was so bad. I'm trying to find a replacement that will suit my needs and still remain relatively cheap, and found this. Other than school work and casual browsing, I will probably be using it for low-req games like Minecraft and HL2. A review I found said it could handle games like SC2 and MW2 on low end setting, but I take that with a grain of salt (and I definitely won't be playing high end games like that, I'll wait until I can build a nice gaming desktop). What I'm saying is that I'm looking for a computer that can play games, not a "gaming computer", and will this be fine?

Model: HP g4-1104dx
Processor: Pentium B940 (dual core 2.0 GHz)
Video: Intel GMA HD 3000
RAM: 4GB (upgradable to 8)

If you're just doing games that don't require that much of a computer, that should be fine. RAM is certainly ok, and the processor isn't too bad. You might want to consider getting a better graphics card than the Intel one, if it's possible you'll be playing more high-end games. But for your stated needs it looks fine.

This one is like $100 more but has a Quad Core processor, bigger screen and bigger HD

Plus buying from Best Buy is not advised

Get a laptop with a Graphics adapter NOT made by Intel, and keep to the rest of the specs you posted.

You'll do fine.
