I remember the waterfall and the boobies. But back to the topic. I had real difficulty with what he said since really some of the people talk too damn fast for me (I may be half-French and in France but I still can't follow that speed). We'll just have to see when the film comes out.
I can't follow some of it either, I'm blaming the speed at which the trailer cuts out the scenes and that stupid weirdo, I hate him and I have no idea who he is.

I could always blame the beer too, don't worry its a glass of Kronnenbourg 1664.

Cool trailer. Second i saw the NSFW sign i thought probably lots of nudity or graphic violence in trailer. then at the end i saw nipples. Barely.......I would say its SFW since its a foreign film lol.
Try telling your boss that when he or she walks past at the wrong moment :)
To be honest, the first time I blinked and missed the nipple scene. But hey, you gotta do your job and worn us, don't you?

Disappointed... The Adèle Blanc-Sec comics usually focus on the mysteries of Paris. It's got a lot of goofy elements (demons, occult conspiracies - did you know that the Titanic sunk because Adèle was supposed to be on it?), but it's dark, weird, and urban. Not pterodactyls-and-pyramids. Besson turned it into "The Mummy XVII: Paris Edition". Ah well, didn't expect much more from him.

I think the mummy looks awesome. Why aren't there more movies with mummies in? There is a lot of potential with such monsters. Giants tend to get excluded too. Imagine how much more interesting a romance Twilight would have been if it were about a woman and a giant. It would give a far more practical reason for why they couldn't have sex, for one thing.

Indeed, looks like fun.

But I did like the mummy in the suit. Just made me laugh to see a mummy clothed in something besides bandages or a loincloth.
Has anyone read 'The Professor's Daughter'? It's a comic by one of the writers/artists of the magnificent comic Dungeon (Donjon in French), Joann Sfar, together with Emmanuel Guibert. Anyway, this trailer really reminded me of that comic. It's about the love between a mummy (Imhotep IV) and a daughter of an archeologist and the conflicts with their fathers. Like the mummy in this trailer, Imhotep IV usually appears fully suited up.

(0:45) Heyy, I recognise that music =D Immediate Music, With Great Power [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FPUExZCWwY]. I have a whole collection of Immediate Music songs downloaded from YouTube, they're awesome. First time I've ever actually heard (or rather, noticed) them in an actual movie trailer though.

Now that looks to be an awesome film. I think I might be able to convince my parents to go see it, there should be a subbed version in theatres at some point.

When this was first posted (article) I couldn't respond to it.

Generally speaking it seems like it could be neat, but I believe Luc Besson has been very hit or miss with his projects. I thought his last movie (with Vin Diesel) was going to be awesome, but look at what happened. :/

We'll see what happens, I have minimal respect for foreign films overall (for reasons I won't get into), maybe this will change that perception. Still I can't help but think he probably would have done better to take it to Hollywood.

This looks amazing and I am so glad to see Luc Besson directing again after just writing for everyone else.

I was sold with seeing a mummy in gentlemen's clothes(Arnold Vosloo didn't look so good). A very good trailer, though I don't know french I definitely get the gyst it didn't tell everything that's in the movie.
I usually go for dubbed movies since subtitles can distract from the point of watching a movie, but in this case I'm not sure dubbing will do it justice. I eagerly await to see the dvd release.

Yup, this film is definitely on my radar. I was sold with the French mummy wearing fancy clothes.

This looks pretty good!
The Mummy guy seemed interesting...
And the Gigant Flying Lizard! Let´s not forget the Gigant Flying Lizard!
Anyhoo, the french can actually make some pretty cool action flicks when they feel like it!
Anyone seen "The Brotherhood of The Wolf" (Le Pacte Des Loupes)? or "Vidocq"?
Hmmm.... Gonna see those two as a warm-up to this one I think.

Never has something so monumentally AWESOME been associated with the French.

(or at least since they invented fellatio)
